Ching Ho and his best friend (girl friend?!)
I heard a lot from my sister the interesting rumours about my nephew, Ching Ho, and his so called "girl friend", Siu Pui Kei, in the kindergarten. They held hands all the time, even the teacher found it hard to separate them. Siu Pui Kei would wait for Ching Ho before she entered the classroom, and called Ching Ho "Husband". In many ways, they behaved like little lovers in adult eyes. However, hearing about these is one thing, seeing them in real is another.
Finally, in Ching Ho's 4-year-old birthday party in McDonald, I met "his girl". It's so interesting to see how they cared for each other, brought food to each other and sat together most of the time. When one of the girls (around 3 years old) tried to play with Ching Ho, he bluntly turned her down by saying "You're not my friend, I've got only one friend." In his eyes, there was only Siu Pui Kei. How loyal! The most amazing part, the climax of the day, was that after birthday song singing and candles blowing, Ching Ho suddenly turned around and gave a big hug to "his girl". A big laugh aroused and other kids ran to hug them together. Then, they sat at a corner, Ching Ho putting his arm around the neck of "his girl". Now that I saw them with my own eyes, I knew my sister didn't exaggerate any bit about them.

A few days later, my sister forwarded me the pictures taken by Siu Pui Kei's mother. Among the pictures, there was one that I couldn't get off my mind for a long time. In this particular picture, Siu Pui Kei was kissing Ching Ho's face dearly, Ching Ho was confidently holding her waist. And the funniest part was a little guy crying at the background as if he was defeated in the fighting of love. What a master piece! I decided to print this picture and put it at my office.
Kids nowadays are getting matured very early, aren't they? Thanks to the TV. I believe in the Chinese saying 「三歲定八十」i.e. character developed at 3 years old will carry till 80 years old. Dreamily I see Ching Ho's future love affair (possibly will begin at his early teen) and he will be the winner........ >:-D
Thanks to God. Although I don't have any child of my own, I've got a lovely nephew and can share the interesting moments of his growth.
